Welcome to the Halloween Project, a project founded by TheCW TV show "Supernatural"'s fans, dedicated to inspire cast and crew to scare. We want you to send in your scariest stories, self-written or urban, drawings of monsters, and anything related to the show and Halloween!
For every submission you make, we'll donate $7 on the behalf of Jared, Jensen and you guys to 2 chosen charities. Below you can read more about them!

Charities
|
For every submission you make, we'll donate $7 to two important charities: SPCA and Young Life. We chose these charities, as we believe that their causes are very much in the favour of Jared and Jensen.
SPCA stands for Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As Jared and his girlfriend Sandy own two dogs, they're apparently animal lovers. We'll donate half the money you guys make by sending in your submissions to the "Animal Defense League - Spca" in San Antonio, where Jared was born and raised, to protect the animals close to his parents' home and to make the community a bit nicer as well.
Young Life is a Christian organization dedicated to give adolescents the opportunity of spirituality in these hectic times of life by offering various activities including camps. As Jensen is a Christian believer and says his prayers every night before going to bed, and working in the volatile business, seeing adolescents find their piece by turning to God and Jesus Christ, is surely in his favour.

Inspiration

To get you to squeeze out your muse for the cast and crew of our beloved show "Supernatural", here are some ideas of what you can create and submit:
sculptures of monsters, etc
drawings of monsters, the cast in Halloween costumes, etc
hand made stuff like 2D-dolls, etc
videos of scary stuff, you telling a scary story, etc
audio versions of scary stories
[fan]fictional stories bare in mind to write the characters as close to what they are on the show as possible!
urban legend stories, etc
costumes for the cast / crew, etc
comic strips of the cast fighting evil, them in Halloween costumes, etc
...

Here's the overview of all submissions that have been approved, meaning that all rules have been followed. If your submission is not on this list, it either means, it hasn't been approved or it hasn't been received yet. If you have questions, please emai Tee, including your postal address.

Submit until October 20th, 2007! We will either be handing in the collection of submissions at the fan convention in Ritchmond, Canada on Oct 28th, if crew and/or cast attends, or drop it off at the office of the Vancouver Supernatural Films Inc. So make sure you send it off on time, especially if you live outside of Canada
Extra disclaimer! For all submissions that you want the writers / designers to inspire for the show's stories, monsters and legedens, you MUST send in a separate sheet of disclaimer, stating with your full name that you disclaim all rights of your creation and signed by you. Be ware, that, if the crew does use one of your submissions, you will have no copyrights to the creation. Without extra disclaimer, we Cannot hand in your submission as the crew is legally bound to not use your stuff. They won't take the risk of law suits.
Be moderate! We'll appreciate all your lovely, creative submissions, but 1:1 sized drawings, huge banners, big sculptures will make transportation a bit difficult. Size DOES matter.
Check grammar & spelling! Make sure you submit proofread texts! You don't want to make a fool out of yourself and ruin your chance to contribute to the show.
Pay the shipping fees fully! We will not pay shipping costs of submissions that haven't been fully paid for.
Enclose your postal address, so that, if you have any further enquiries, Tee will be able to refer.

Please spread the word. The more submissions we'll receive the better for the life of the show. Maybe one of your or your friends' stories will be used as base for an episode? Maybe your monster will make into the show? Kripke says he makes the show for the fans, so let's make the show ours(elves)!
